What type of cases do you defend?

If you are not appropriately licenced, possession of handguns, rifles, shotguns and any item adapted to discharge a missile are treated as serious offences. Possession of ammunition without a licence is also a criminal offence.

Make sure to get some advice before going to Court, as the penalties vary significantly depending on the charge.

Am I going to jail?

This depends on whether the firearm was registered or unregistered, whether you were unlicenced or a prohibited person, whether the firearm was used in another criminal offence and whether you have any relevant prior convictions.

If you think you might be at risk of going to jail, it is important that you obtain legal advice early. Get in touch to make an appointment.
